A C Clarke was commissioned to write one of the poems for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
She was shortlisted for the Ver Open Poetry competition; and wrote a two-part article on factual truth in poetry for Artemis magazine.
Ross Cogan won the Cannon Poets ‘Sonnet or Not’ competition, and A C Clarke was highly commended.
Ross Cogan and A C Clarke both received commendations in the Troubadour Poetry Competition.
A C Clarke came second in the Segora competition.
A C Clarke continues to win an exceptional number of prizes. She has recently been awarded 1st prize in the Second Light competition, long poem category, 2nd prize in the Fred Downie competition, and a commendation in the McLellan poetry competition.
A C Clarke will be reading from Fr Meslier’s Confession in the Rosslyn Chapel, Roslin, Midlothian at 7.30pm, as part of the Penicuik Festival.

A C Clarke will be reading with two other Glasgow poets at Wordpower Books, Edinburgh as part of the Edinburgh Book Fringe on 13th August at 1.00pm.
A C Clarke will be giving an illustrated talk with poems to the Humanist Society. July 2nd at 7.30pm at the Mercure Hotel, Edinburgh.
‘Fr Meslier’s Confession’, A C Clarke’s most recent Oversteps poetry book, was listed in the Poetry Book Society Spring Bulletin, which also included an intelligent and favourable review of the book.
