  • An exciting day of readings by Oversteps poets in the Gatehouse at Dartington on 14th July: 10.30 Devon Poets; 12 noon Poetry of Place; 2.00 Hot off the Press; 3.30 Faith and Doubt; 5.00 Encore.



  • Ann Kelley has had a batch of competition successes recently. She was shortlisted in the Live Canon 2011 Poetry Prize, the Bridport Priz and the Troubadour International Poetry Prize.



  • January saw three new books from Oversteps: The Book I Never Wrote by Ross Cogan, Fr Meslier’s Confession by A C Clarke, and Telling the Bees by Ann Kelley. All three of these poets have been published by Oversteps before, and have proved popular.



  • Ann Kelley had two poems shortlisted in the Bridport competition, and won a prize in the Troubadour competition. Her new book, ‘Telling the Bees’, will be out shortly, and contains these prize-winning poems.



  • Caroline Carver has won first prize in the Poems on the Buses 4 competition; and Anne Stewart and Ann Kelley were both commended.
